Dear Colleagues,I am proud to inform you that the 3rd Thai-German Congress “Multi-Disciplinary Treatment in the Modern World of Implant Dentistry” will be held during the period of January 13 – 15, 2016 in Chiang Mai, a beautiful city in the northern part of Thailand. With the collaboration of the Private Dentist Association of Thailand (TPDA), the German Society of Implantology (DGOI) and the Faculty of Dentistry, Chiang Mai University, we have set up a program consisting of a Pre-Congress program, a Scientific program, research paper presentations and posters.

The Faculty of Dentistry, Chiang Mai University recognizes the importance of implantology, which is becoming the basis of a major treatment modality throughout the world. We have always supported implant treatment, by encouraging our academics to conduct research in the field. We also have established, in 2013, the Center of Excellence for Dental Implantology in the Faculty of Dentistry, Chiang Mai University. The Center has the objectives of providing implant treatment and advice about implants to patients, and supporting to the teaching of implantology and to conducting research on implants.

We hope that the Congress will provide new knowledge in implantology to attendees. So herewith, I invite colleagues and dental schools to participate in our program while enjoying the city of Chiang Mai with us. I look forward eagerly to seeing you at the Congress.

Dear Colleagues
The success of the 1st and 2nd Thai-German Congresses in 2012 and 2014 has obviously indicated the good response to the updated treatment and academic matters in implantology. In addition I appreciate the kind contributions from the organizing committee, speakers and dental companies for this success.

the 3rd Thai-German Congress, in association with the Faculty of Dentistry of Chiang Mai University and German Society of Implantology (DGOI), is planned and scheduled on January 13 – 15, 2016 in Chiang Mai Province, Thailand. The Theme of the Congress is Multi-Disciplinary Treatment in Modern World of Implantology.
