Porcelain Veneers and Replacing Missing Teeth with Thai Dental Implants : A case report

Porcelain veneers are popular treatment option for several reasons. They generally are placed on upper front teeth that are severely discolored, poorly shaped and slightly crooked. Veneers are sometime used to correct teeth that are chipped or worn. They also may be used to correct uneven spaces or a diastema. Tooth loss due to traumatic dental injury or accident is a significant problem in patient. Not only does it cause functional impairment, it may also lead to social-psychological consequence. Missing teeth in patient has been shown to have a negative impact on their emotional status, social relationship, speaking, smiling and carrying out work. Dental implant placement should be considered as a viable treatment option. This case report presents procedure of improving smile with porcelain veneers and replacing missing teeth with Thai dental implants in accidental patient.
