Titanium in Dentistry
Due to many advantages, such as its excellent biocompatibility, high corrosion resistance, low density, and good mechanical properties, titanium is considered a valuable future alternative to conventional dental alloys. However, in high temperature, titanium is a highly reactive metal that makes it difficult to be cast.
