Ceramic Inlays

Due to improved ceramic materials and bonding techniques, ceramics have been increasingly used for posterior restorations especially those with highly aesthetic requirements. This paper surveys the current knowledge of ceramic inlay restorations, covering the indications and contra-indications, clinical treatment procedures, survival rates, clinical performance and also causes of failures in recent clinical studies.
