Schwannoma at Tongue : Report of a Case

Schwannoma is a benign nerve sheath tumor . The most common intraoral site is tongue. In this paper, schwannoma at dorsal surface of tongue of 71-year-old male patient was presented. The lesion was slow growing and smooth surfaced. Complete surgical excision was performed. The specimen was thick wall, encapsulated mass. There was no recurrence for a follow up of 2 months .
